The girls have their neighbor friend over to play this afternoon and I don't know why, but I had Grace invite her to stay for dinner. The screams of elation were classic. The girls have never invited a friend to stay for dinner before and it turns out their friend had never been invited to stay yet either. It was a first all around and for some reason, while I was getting dinner in the oven, I just felt like this was some big milestone. In the grand scheme of things, it's really not, but they are so happy about it, I'm counting it!
We'll see how I feel about my grand plan after we get through dinner with three girls that have already spent the entire afternoon together...
